Art should be for everyone as it has the power to inspire, unite, and transform. Through Abhivyakti City Arts Project, the Foundation brings artists and communities together by making creative experiences open and accessible to all.

Abhivyakti is a celebration of creativity that amalgamates emerging and established artists from across the country, offering them an open, nurturing platform to explore, express, and evolve - while actively engaging communities and inviting people to experience, participate in, and connect with art. The first edition was launched in 2018 as an approach-and-curate event. Local artists were encouraged to share their art with the audience, transforming the city into a vibrant canvas of artistic expression.

Spanning dance, music, theatre, and visual arts, Abhivyakti curates inclusive, multidisciplinary experiences - all offered free of cost to the audience. Artists are invited to submit fresh concepts, which are reviewed by expert curators and mentors. Selected projects receive mentorship, developmental support, and financial assistance. Pratiti

City parks and public spaces have been facing ecological stress due to rapid urbanisation and effects of climate change. These green spaces play an important role in controlling temperatures, improving air quality and biodiversity, collecting rainwater, and absorbing carbon and pollutants. Yet, many parks remain neglected.

The Pratiti Programme was started to transform such spaces into sustainable ecological zones with areas for recreation, children's play, pets, cultural events, and quiet reflection in natural surroundings. The seeds of this initiative were planted in 1995, when Torrent Group adopted Parimal Garden, a landmark garden in Ahmedabad.

The Pratiti programme was formalised in 2016 as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the UNM Foundation and local governing bodies to develop, maintain, and restore urban parks.

Today, Pratiti has developed 8,44,000 square metres area covering 17 parks, 2 Lakes, an urban forest, and the afforestation of Shetrunjay Hills (described later) positively impacting more than 60 lakh people annually.

Ahmedabad UNM Foundation restored and maintains 13 parks in Ahmedabad covering 12% of the city's total parks area.

The iconic gardens of Ahmedabad - Parimal, Lokmanya Tilak (Victoria), and Sardar Baug have been developed, and are being maintained under Pratiti.

Other developed parks include Sindhu Bhavan, Swati Bungalow, Thaltej, Hebatpur, Ranip, Sukan, Naroda; and Zolapur & Kesardi Lakes.

Ongoing projects include the development of Late Haren Pandya Park, AUDA (Mondeal Heights), Gulmohar Villa (Science City), and Heritage Parks. Additionally, the Adalaj Urban Forest is now being developed.

Surat: The programme set foot in Surat where the Jyotindra Dave & Ravi Shankar Maharaj gardens, and Lake Piplod were restored - covering 6% of Surat's total parks area. Redevelopment work for the Swami Vivekanand and Veer Savarkar gardens is ongoing.

Daman (UT): The Foundation also developed, and maintains green areas around Daman fort, Devka and Jampore beaches.
